You see another attempt here at a coracle using small-diameter bamboo. It split too easily, though.
My second home, the creek.
At dusk I walked to an area where deer sometimes graze. I could see a few and hear them snorting, but they never came out to the grass. To pass time I twisted a blade of grass into lashing. Grass creates a weak twine but one could potentially make a bracelet out of it or something.
